Missing Red Tandem

Some of our friends expressed that they missed getting daily missives from Red tandem blog. I, Eric, have also been missing the hoped for ongoing travel with my other half, Alice, which together makes the Red Tandem team. But Alice’s decision to start a new full time job put a little kink in our “best laid plans”. She was not very available for travel as she needed to establish herself as a reliable and indispensable member of her team at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. And it’s worked! Valued team members enjoy very easy access to vacation time as long as the need for all hands on deck are respected at certain times of year. So we are ready to start planning new travels and be able to bring new stories.

Our news is that we have booked our travel to Portugal on October and will be planning to walk another route of the famous Camino de Santiago, this time the Portuguese route, starting in Porto, Portugal, and ending in Santiago Campostela.

I thought I’d give our followers a little foretaste of Portugal by bringing a few pictures our visit to Lisbon in 2017.

Pastel de nata, or egg tart is a national dish. Alice says they are not as good as Taiwanese egg tarts, and I won’t contradict he on that.
